How tracking works

How Crmbls AI turns a scan into a log.

A scan is not treated as a final answer. Crmbls AI uses AI to recognize foods, matches them with structured food data where possible, and lets you review the result before it becomes part of your history.

  1. Step 1

    Recognize

Crmbls AI uses AI-assisted recognition to identify likely foods from a meal image. AI supports the first draft; it is not treated as final truth.

  2. Step 2

    Match with BLS

Recognized foods are matched with BLS — Bundeslebensmittelschlüssel — where possible. BLS contains structured food composition values and can be used as a reliable reference for many standard foods.

  3. Step 3

    Review and adjust

When matching is unclear, Crmbls AI uses fallback search. You can review detected foods, add missing items, adjust names and change gram amounts before saving.

Accuracy and control

Accuracy is about tracking quality.

The accuracy score helps you understand how reliable a log may be. Clear recognition, stronger BLS matches and reviewed amounts can improve confidence. Unclear images, weak matches or AI-only estimates lower the score.

A tracking-quality signal

Crmbls AI assigns an accuracy score based on the quality of the result, not as a final nutrition answer.

Clear matches help

A result can score higher when more foods are recognized clearly and matched with structured data such as BLS.

Unclear inputs lower it

Blurry images, uncertain foods, weak matches, estimated amounts or fallback search can lower the score until the log is reviewed.

Scan modes

Choose the scan that fits the meal.

Some meals are simple. Some need more review. Crmbls AI gives you different scan modes so tracking can stay practical instead of forcing every meal into the same flow.

Multi Scan

Built for meals across multiple plates. Capture separate plates or parts of a meal and review them step by step.

What you can track

Core nutrition stays structured.

After the scan and daily habit logs, Crmbls AI keeps the nutrition record readable instead of turning it into a noisy dashboard.

Core nutrition

Calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sugar and sodium.

Nutrient values

Tracked nutrient entries can include details such as amino acids, creatine or vitamins when users add them.

Daily context

Meal logs, water and supplements stay connected without turning the page into a separate dashboard.

Small changes, less pressure

Patterns can be useful without becoming rules.

Small changes can have a meaningful impact over time, but every body is different. Crmbls AI helps users notice patterns and make conscious adjustments without claiming there is one correct way to eat.

The goal is awareness: seeing what was logged, how confident the estimate was and where a small adjustment might be worth trying. Crmbls AI avoids pressure language because food tracking should support personal choices, not turn every meal into a test.

Transparent usage

Why Crmbls exist.

AI scans create ongoing processing costs. Crmbls make usage visible and help keep the free version useful over time. People who prefer a more comfortable experience can use Pro instead of relying on rewarded actions.

Basic tracking should stay approachable.

AI-heavy actions need a transparent usage system.

Rewarded Crmbls can support free access over time.

Pro is for people who want fewer interruptions and more comfort.

Long-term awareness

A clearer record for personal choices.

Crmbls AI is built for meal history, consistency and nutrition trends that help users understand their own patterns over time.

Meal history

See what was logged and how confident each estimate was.

Consistency

Notice repeated patterns across normal days, including messy ones.

Personal context

Use trends as context for choices, not as a universal rule.
